Missing Event Log Author Information
complete

Currently, log entries generated by technical users—such as API keys or API users—do not provide enough information to accurately identify the specific key or user responsible for the action.
Additionally, we want to enhance log clarity by displaying the first and last name of a user alongside their username.

Update: Author Display Now Complete for All Historical Events
The improved author display in event logs is now fully available for all events in meshStack v2026.16.0, including older events created before November 2025.
- All events now show the author icon (user, API key, or system) and a readable name — not just recent ones.
- Hover over the author icon to see a tooltip with the author type.
- No action needed — the improvement applies automatically to all existing event log entries.

Thanks everyone who voted for this feature request. We're currently testing a new approach for displaying author information and have rolled it out in the API Keys screen already. This component also shows different types of icons and details for API Keys and API Users.
We will be gradually replacing existing author information with this component over the next few months.

Provide Author of Event Log Item

I want to quickly identify which user performed a specific action within meshStack event logs. However, the current system only displays numbers related to the API key or username and not the full name and email of the person, making it difficult to determine the responsible user.
