I want to utilize Microsoft Azure's Managed Identities for authentication and authorization in meshStack.
Managed Identities have better security handling and do not expose any credentials (as opposed to Service Principals)

I will close this as we now support workload identity federation

Jelle den Burger You can consider Federated Identities which will work also in SaaS plans.

As Managed Identities have to run next to the infrastructure, this will sadly not be possible and supported for SaaS plans.

In theory, it would be possible for Enterprise deployments however, that are running in the organization's infrastructure.
