Update: Building Block config, Lifecycle filtering, and Owner specification
We have added significant new capabilities to the meshLandingZone API in meshStack v2026.3.0.
What's available now:

Landing Zone Configuration for all platforms:
You can now configure all settings for landing zones that are available via meshPanel *
Building Block Configuration:
You can now configure mandatory and recommended building blocks via API, enabling better governance automation.*
Workspace Ownership:
It is now possible (and mandatory) to explicitly specify workspace ownership when creating Landing Zones.*
Lifecycle Filtering:
You can now filter Landing Zones by lifecycleState
(ACTIVE, DEACTIVATED) in the API.Next steps and feedback
Please test the new building block configuration options. Note that the workspace ownership field is now mandatory, so please ensure your API integrations are updated accordingly.

We will launch the
v1-preview
of the landing zone API today.Let us know what you think of the new API and feel free to give us proposals on how to further improve the API. While the API is still in preview mode we can easily make changes to it.
What is also still in progress is Terraform provider support for landing zones. Stay tuned for that one!

This feature is crucial for service platform offering. In such case a service is registered as a platform and landing zone is created via user request from meshStack UI as building block for instance.

We still have this on the radar but for now it is not on our short-term roadmap. We will keep you updated when something changes!

It's not on the roadmap yet but we plan to enable this + potentially creating a Terraform provider too.
