Project filter input box disappears when finding no projects

How to reproduce
- Go to customers projects overview page
- Inside "search by project name or identifier" enter a string that leads to 0 results.
Expected behavior
Something along the lines of "no matching projects found"
I'm able to adjust my filter query
Observed behaviour
"There are no projects yet"
The filter input field disappears
Workaround: Switching to a different tab and going back restores the input field
